A few people were curious to know which bird made the repeated "mip" call
from Hawthorn Orchard I recorded and posted last week:

Although some have suggested merlin and sharp-shinned, which both
definitely do a form of that repetition
Lots of warblers at the Lab of O now on the Wilson trail north. Canada, Parula,
Wilson’s, Black-throated blue , Magnolia, Yellow, redstart, ovenbird. Plus
least flycatcher and more.
Bay breasted on our property on Hunt Hill rd. This morning.
