Adam Troyer found a YELLOW RAIL while mowing one of the back hay fields on his farm off Tomak Road in Candor this afternoon. We were just able to flush it again (briefly) for a look. The spot is tough to access and a bit of a hike, but Adam is thinking the best option if others want to try would

Also if you are interested in exploring Native American sites, the Zuni Pueblo is fascinating. You can stay there. We hired a Zuni guide to give us a tour of the Pueblo and also an ancient Kiva site. We did a whole trip in the four corners area learning about the many indigenous cultures there.
