We (The Cayuga Lake Osprey Network) put up new platforms off Niemi Rd to
replace the nest that exploded into a fireball last autumn.

What a thrill to see an Eastern towhee right outside my kitchen window in
Lansing today. Seems very early! Anyone else seeing them?

I had 8-12 juncos all winter here in Union Springs & still have them. They're
loving seed thrown on the ground & under the long propane tank as well as
what's on my window sill.Titmice have gone. Still have 2 w-b nuthatches & my
other regulars. Have enjoyed the 2 flickers & red-bellied
Kendal at Ithaca has lots of DE Juncos!
I had about six or seven all winter but now there’s ~ 25 at my feeding area and
many more all around the complex.

FOY Eastern Towhee and Field Sparrow this morning here in Newfield. Very
