The Downys are back again with Pa feeding Jr. , then Jr. staying on seed-nut
cone & eating quite well on its own.
Meanwhile, I also see a begging Tufted Titmouse juvenile here by sunflower seed
feeder doing its wing flapping & begging calls trying to get its parent to feed
it !

In my ‘back yard’ I have several bird feeders, including a large hanging
cone-shaped seed & nut cake the woodpeckers like.
A male Downy was perched on it eating seeds when a juvenile Downy landed on the
pole above the cake & started baby-begging /wing flapping.
