During the Saturday morning CBC walk at Sapsucker, mostly in light rain, we
also saw one Blue-Winged Warbler 50 feet from the building near the pond
overlook.

There's a long-term group of around 20 or so Cedar Waxwings in the trees to the
right of the Beebe Lake dam. They've been there most of the time for a few
weeks. You can get a great view from the pedestrian bridge. This is a pretty
sure bet to see one of our prettiest birds.

An Osprey is right now in the evergreen just on the south side of the dam. No
prey in talons. Oh, maybe he was resting - just flew to the woods on the other
side.

At 2:20 we saw two BALD EAGLES cruising above Beebe Lake. They went
off toward the southeast.
