Fair haven beach. In the bay South of break wall. Viewed from fisherman parking
area. Eventually lost it when flushed by fishermen.
Also, no sign of snowy owl here yet. Been here for 2 hours.

I apologize, I thought I sent it to Cayuga birds.
The purple sandpiper was along the pier hiding beneath the break wall. It would
come out for a little and go back in.
Just passed the trees on the left, maybe 50 yards or so, there is a small mid
flat.

Fennel rd. where Joe Brin reported RHWP. I have just seen 2 males. I believe
there are 2 active holes here. I even took a picture of 2 males in the same
shot. I will try and figure a way to post these.

After going a long period of time without birding, I FINALLY got out today and
was rewarded heavily for it.
Bald Eagles were at every location today. had a juvenile pull a fish out of the
river along the wildlife drive. A Northern Shrike was a great warm up for the
crowd that
Went searching for gyrfalcon that was seen yesterday at Knox, came up empty.
also, there was a lesser black-backed gull seen off of 31, but i also never
found it. I did, however, see an iceland and 2 glaucous gulls. glaucous gulls
were seen on both sides of 31, east of the potato building, and

After Long Point I decided to hit MNWR from Mud Lock to K-M viewing area from
east road including the wildlife drive. there were lots of ducks in the main
pool, but too far to count, but did identify 4 species in the group. Highlight
was definately hanging out with a PEREGRINE FALCON for half
I am posting this for those following COMMON LOON numbers for the season from
Long Point I was there today so figured I would share. I had 53 in 2hours this
morning through the snow. Well worth it. Also accidently flushed 6 SNOW

Great day for paddling down river with a friend. We spent 6 hours on fish
creek and had an amazing day. We started out at trestle road in Camden and
finished at fish creek landing road in McConnellsville. Deep forest kayaking..
highlight of the day was flushing a goshawk and watching how fast
Had a great day from mud lock all the way to Marin's track. Took my 5 year old
nephew for an 8 hour birding tour, he enjoyed about 6 houors of it LOL!!
