Feeders put out yesterday and male hummer just seen at the test tubes. Twelve
white crowned sparrows under feeders with an eastern towhee pair; RB grosbeak
male on one feeder. Brown thrasher lurking nearby. Baby bluebirds in two nest
boxes, tree swallows nesting in another two.
Love spring….

It is my understanding that the posted resolution is from the Dryden
Conservation Board and was sent to the Dryden Town Board. Our support is still
needed.
Per an inquiry to the Conservation Board last Fall, letters or petitions
supporting the preservation of Dryden Lake should be sent
this AM there were 4 female / immature types visible at once from my kitchen
window - one sitting and shivering on each of my 3 feeders and one perched next
to a pineapple sage plant (which was covered with a sheet because of the
frost). I have been seeing 1-2 at a time almost every day the las
at the Bee Lab (the one WEST of Freese Road): Male and female scarlet tanagers
in trees, just as you leave the parking lot heading west on trail towards
Equine Research Park, before you reach big fields
Everyone may have them around but this was exciting for my "kids"!
