soaring north if not for having to repair a flat tire.
Last night around 8:15pm at least two AMERICAN WOODCOCKS were displaying
behind the airport.

After many minutes of whistling, a distant NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL replied on
Neimi Rd. near the southern end of the pond that's visible through the trees
just north of the intersection of Snyder/Mohawk/Neimi around 10pm tonight.

There was at least one GREAT HORNED OWL hooting north of Northwood Apts
coming from Bomax Drive around 7pm. There may have been a second, but I
cannot be 100% sure it wasn't a human imitating the owl.

The PEREGRINE FALCON was up high on Bradfield Hall at 4:50pm this evening.
While waiting to be picked up a short time later I counted 84 AMERICAN CROWS
in one minute while standing on Tower Road, all headed in the general
direction of their nighttime roost.

Plover was out, and when it didn't sound like a Killdeer I was left with an
AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER. The bird did not seem to return to the field, and I
last saw it headed in the general direction of the compost piles.
