Cayugabirders,
A very large flock of swallows and swifts was feeding over Cayuga Lake
out from Stewart and East Shore Parks in Ithaca this morning just
before 11 AM in the heavy rain.  Though all local species were
represented (2 Cliff Swallow, 1 Purple Martin included), particularly
interesting were the prodigious numbers of Chimney Swifts and Bank
Swallows.  The Laughing Gull continued on the white lighthouse jetty.
