I take a broader view of the Cayuga basin and harken back to the days of
Pangaea when I think that it is safe to say that the entire region shared a
common drainage.
Given the above interpretation, I am free to mention my experience this
weekend at Bombay hook NWR on Delaware bay. Frigid condition

interest is along rte 89 in the NW corner of the map, just east of the 524'
drumlin summit shown there.

I tried to post this a while ago, but it never appeared, so I will try again.
According to waynecountynysoiland water.org (under What is a Watershed?) the
entire Butler Creek drainage is into the Seneca River. However, another page on
that site states that the Town of Butler lies within both Lak
