This afternoon Bob, Susan, Ann, Stuart and myself enjoyed looking at shore
birds on Carncross Rd. including Peeps, Semipalmated Plover, American Golden
Plover, Black-bellied Plover and many Dunlin. A pair of Sandhill Cranes were in
the far NW corner of the field leading around a pair of "too cute" colts. Some
of the time the colts weren't tall enough to be seen above the grass, but when
they're visible they look to good to be coyote food. They are definitely worth
the time to spot.
