Five NORTHERN SHOVELERS (3 male, 2 female) have joined the waterfowl
at the George Road pond as of midday today (19 March 2011). The male
COMMON TEAL was still present too, as well as Wood Duck, American
Wigeon, Northern Pintail, Mallard, American Black Duck, and
Ring-necked Duck. Yesterday two transitional HORNED GREBES were
sleeping with the dabbling ducks near the Hart Road side.

We ended up with at least five FOX SPARROWS last night, and although I
saw none at first this morning, at 11:15 or so, all five appeared
again. We still have several Common Redpolls and American Tree
Sparrows too.

Good birding,
