Just after 3:30 PM I saw what appeared to me to be a Peregrine Falcon flying
south as I was driving north on 89. The bird had the typical falcon
'Moustache', but I questioned the id because there was a crow flying next to it
and the falcon was quite noticeably larger. The falcon had something in it's
talons which I believe was a second crow. I turned around to see if I could I
could relocate the bird, but was unable to. I suspect it was a gray morph
gyrfalcon. The location is not all that far from where Tim Lenz reported seeing
a Gyrfalcon recently.
