Despite the wind, a lot going on at the refuge. Thousands of ring-necked ducks 
with canvasback, redhead, ruddy, Am wigeon, gadwall, mallard, pintail, 
shovelers, to name a few. Had at least 6 Bald eagles on the drive (including 3 
juveniles together harassing the ducks). A group of 5 TUNDRA swans and 1 
Eurasian Wigeon. Also had a snow bunting along the road. Graylag goose is still 
around near the eagle sculpture.
