In downtown Ithaca, we have a very large, 100+, flock of Starlings that
have been roosting in a stand of bamboo in our yard each night for the last
few weeks.  I see them leave each morning around 8 am and around 5 pm they
swirl around the yard for about 10 minutes or so before they all swoop into
the stand.  It's really beautiful to watch.  None of them are hanging out
in the yard during the day at the feeders.  So fascinating,
