A Savannah sparrow hopping around in the dried grasses in our back yard
this afternoon, a foy for us. Also a northern flicker calling from the top
of a tree beside our driveway, also a foy for us. Marsha Kardon

This noon, Gin I found a Savannah Sparrow flitting into the bushes in
the field near the corner of Dodge Rd and Stevenson Rd.
Also found a Phoebe near the silos on Stevenson when we went looking for
Snipes in the puddle -- no luck on Snipes, although there is always a
Killdeer there.

Happy to see a perky Savannah Sparrow at the track at the equine research
park/bluegrass lane. They are one of my favorites!!
