Likewise, 10-15 robins in flying around and perching in the forest trees and

Same here. Quite surprised to see so many robins here (in Geneva) with so
much winter left yet to come. Although I noticed what drew them: my
neighbor has a berry tree that they are gorging on. Fun to watch them take
the berries up to the roof of my garage and feast, then wash it down with
water
There will almost always be some Robins that stay this far north in winter.

I had over 1000 robins fly over Hanshaw Rd S of intersection with W Dryden Rd
on 15 Jan. There were flocks of about 200 or more in my field that same day,
about the same time. Since then I have been routinely seeing 100-200 moving
near dusk, in Freeville area…last weekend on Palmear Rd.

Over the past decade +, America Robins have been spotted in all states
except Hawaii in all months of the year. Rather than a strict north/south

Is this early or unusual?

Yesterday morning, Jan. 4th, I was out walking the dogs, up here on Mt.
Pleasant and there was a lot of activity with Robins. Hard to count but maybe
25-30, all around the house and out the driveway. They were after Hawthorn
berries. There are also wet areas in the woods. I know there are
Lotsa Robins this winter!
I had 30 on Collins Road in Lansing , Count circle region 9, Jan. 1, Cayuga
Bird Club Christmas Bird count.
Since then, see flock of them here on Lansing Station Road occasionally.
Eating wild grapes, exploring open water areas of little streams and ditches.

Many years ago while visiting my uncle in Bonita Springs, Florida - about
this time of year - Robins were eating some black berries. The bushes were
along the yard and as I watched the Robins some of them would flop to the
ground, try to get up, stager and eventually be able to hop off or fly.
I'm thinking that they are starting to filter in .. there does seem to be a
big influx recently.

I noticed robins, not in large flocks but a few, around our place in
Lansing. They hadn't been in evidence for most of the winter so far. The
birds I saw were foraging in the few areas of open ground--mostly under
parked cars--free from the recent snow cover. My guess was that the recent
