I bet this is the same one I saw at Judd Falls the other day by the fish lab.
The first one I've seen this winter.

Late this morning while I was stopped at the light at Clinton St and Rt. 13
a Raven flew over Rt 13 flying basically west to east. This is the first
Raven I have seen in the down town area. Have I just been missing them? I

Susan,
I had a black vulture last week in Johnson City.
There were also a few reported in spring/summer
in the Ithaca area. This species apparently continues
to spread northward. Neat.

There were four Tundra Swans at the edge of the ice, SW corner of Cayuga Lake,
late in the afternoon. The usual number lately has been three. Didn't have a
chance to count other waterfowl, but there were approximately 20 Great
Black-backed Gulls and several hundred Canada Geese, also some
