Two COMMON REDPOLL (M F) returned to our yard today. They seem to be
feeding more comfortably with the other birds, so perhaps they will
stick around for awhile.

along 96 near the old Trumansburg mini-golf center.

Some of you might want to see Factory pond. Beaver has felled 2 fair
sized trees along the south side. One has fallen almost entirely into
the water. The other is about 1/2 in the water. Geese ducks have never
been able to swim where they are now. Gets more interesting each day.

It certainly could have been a BH Cowbird. They will occasionally overwinter in
our area. There has been a large flock,(~50) visiting feeders at Lake Como
again this winter.
