[cayugabirds-l] Mt Pleasant Horned Larks

12/31 - Just went to go see the Horned Larks. Saw about 25+ flitting between the fields on both sides of the road, near the end of Mt. Pleasant (at the junction to Mineah Road). Nice views of the ones that landed on the road near the car! Lauren DeGennaro Ithaca, NY -- Cayugabirds-L List Info:

Hi all, The local flock of Horned Larks is currently visible in the corn-stubble field on the south side of Mt Pleasant Road (east end). I estimated around 20 earlier this morning, but I know there are more. Thinking of tomorrows' bird count, I wonder if "a bunch" would be a valid number?? ;-)
