Hi all,
I did a 9.5 mile Monkey Run north and south loop hike with some friends.
The highlights were - I heard at least three or four Pine Siskins in the white

I spent four hours hiking the Texas Hollow Finger Lakes Trail with a

Driving home an hour or so ago, I was nearing the junction of Baker Hill and Mt
Pleasant roads when I saw a Red-tailed Hawk circling over some tall conifers
carrying a stick in its talons. Suddenly it swooped down and disappeared
presumably into one of the trees, but I couldn't relocate it.
At least one Red-winged Blackbird male singing in the mini-wetland around the
parking lot at the Lab of Ornithology an hour ago.
