Winkler will be giving a talk entitled "Pushing the Limits for Tag Size and
Life-Span: Tiny Solar Tags and Their Future in Following Bird Movements."

I am leading an afternoon field trip to look for Short-eared Owls on Saturday,
12/10. We will meet at the Lab of Ornithology parking lot (the closest lot to
the building) at 3:00 and will carpool to Lake Road near Long Point to
hopefully see some owls. Dress warmly. We will be there until 5:00
