[cayugabirds-l] Mud Lock bird/broken wing
Forgive me if this has already been reported: there is a white duck or goose, domestic I suppose, with one wing hanging at Mud Lock, north end of Cayuga Lake. I was paddling by so can't be too sure. [cayugabirds-l] Northern mockingbird nesting on East Hill Way
Every time I run on East Hill Way, I've been really delighted to hear a northern mockingbird going through its amazing repertoire of songs. I've heard him singing since April, so he must be nesting. He seems to hang out on East Hill Way just as it meets Maple Ave, near the horse pasture. [cayugabirds-l] Wood Thrush
Singing close to the road in my woods ~8:15 AM. I walked over to see if I could see him & the lovely singing stopped. It has been close to road several times lately.
