I imagine folks have been birding in the north end of the basin, but so far
I've only seen limited repor
A flock of six Snow Buntings was foraging alongside Mt Pleasant Road just
east of the observatory as I drove past around 9:30 this morning, a
species conspicuously absent when I walked that route for the CBC
yesterday.

Driving N on 13A early this afternoon I had a small accipiter fly in front
of my car into/through a bush and land on a branch just past the bush
scattering a number of House Sparrows. Backing up on 13A (I'm not
recommending this behavior!!) let me get a good enough view to ID it as a
Sharpie.
