It is certainly not news that the mix of migrating shorebirds turns over markedly during a single day. Towpath Road/Knox-Marcellus today is a great case in point. At mid-morning, along with Ann Mitchell, Dave Nutter, Dominic Sheroni and a group from Rochester, I observed several dowitchers,
