Hi!
I was out at Montezuma about a week ago photographing sparrows. I think the bird is a swamp sparrow, but it has some characteristics of a Lincoln's sparrow. What it is missing is the definite barring on the breast. The two views of the same bird show a crest, buff and dark jaw marks, but no distinct streaks. Am I right?-a swamp sparrow. Could some of you take a look at the two images on my website (mystery sparrow1 and mystery sparrow view 2) and give me some input so it won't need to stay a mystery sparrow.
Thanks so much for your help!
