John Confer will be leading a Cayuga Bird Club trip to Oswego Harbor this
Sunday, Nov 21, leaving at 8:00 am from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
This all-day trip will travel to Lake Ontario in search of Long-tailed Ducks
and other waterfowl as well as several gull species not commonl
My mother Carolyn just spotted one Pine Siskin hanging out with two American
Goldfinches at her feeder at her home on Yellow Barn Road in Freeville.

Just to alert people. My daughter "canceled" her hotmail account some
time ago and now this supposedly deactivated account is sending spam
too. Looks like there needs to be caution with hotmail in general.

I counted over 1000 loons in southbound flight from near Agway in downtown
Ithaca this morning. The flight was en masse (1000+ feet above ground level)
when I arrived at ~8AM and it appeared most had passed when I stopped
