CHIMNEY SWIFTS, at least 2 CLIFF SWALLOWS, dozens of Bank and Tree swallows,
and continuing Ring-necked Ducks and Green-winged Teal. In the Green

Found by Tim Lenz, there is a WILLET feeding near Ring-billed Gulls along
the shore of the Treman Marina, visible from the west side of the swan pen
or the end of drive past the police station and marina.

Daughter, Becky I saw a flock of 20 or so AMERICAN PIPITS in a farm field on
Fitzpatrick Rd. between Union Springs Auburn yesterday.
Also saw both adult Bald Eagles sitting in trees at Mud Lock ... and both
adults at the Refuge near the Visitor's Center.
The Osprey is sitting on 3 eggs on
The WILLET was still present from 8:20 to 8:30pm when I decided, due to fading light and wet optics, to pack up my scope and walk home. It was along the Cayuga Inlet shore a short distance north of the mouth of the marina, and indeed visible from the south point of the mouth of the marina, as Jay
I know this is not the first Baltimore Oriole in the Basin, but she is the

My
late posting:
During my lunch break Sunday at the Finger Lakes School of Massage (FLSM) on
Rt96:
Wood thrush – heard 3, saw one (my first)
Yellow Warblers – heard at least 5
common yellow-throat – heard 2
gray catbirds – heard at least 3 (at one point they were all just mewing in
stereo)
Jus got back from doing a quick radio test from the far side of the main pond
at Sapsucker Woods. While there, I spotted:
Yellow-Rumped Warbler (4)
Great Blue Heron (3)
Pied-Billed Grebe (1)
What I think was a Green Heron on the south shore of the pond.
