On Saturday, one or more Prairie Warblers were heard singing from the field at the corner of Lodi Center Rd and Seneca Rd in the town of Lodi, at the Seneca/Schuyler county line (Seneca Rd is the line). I didn't spend that long at the spot and didn't hear one sing, but it looks real good for Clay-colored Sparrow. Further east on Seneca Rd there was an unseen warbler singing the Golden-winged Warbler song. Lots of Blue-wings in the general area. Great brushlands and grasslands throughout southern Seneca county. Rain ended the fun early.
