Good numbers of shorebirds in at Puddler's Marsh, mostly Lesser Yellowlegs. Highlight was STILT SANDPIPER, a few GREATER YELLOWLEGS, and two SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER. Good numbers of Killdeer and Spotted Sandpiper. Dickcissel singing various versions of the song over at Seneca Meadows. The Dickcissel was singing, briefly, at the intersection of Main Loop trail and Oak Tree Pass trail, NW corner at 3:30 this afternoon. I was unable to get looks at it and of course it was about 15 minutes after Jean Skelley (sp.) from Rochester had left. Sorry Jean, good luck tomorrow.
