Hello all,

Just sending a reminder that the count week period for this Saturday's
Cortland Christmas Bird count
started today and runs through next Tuesday. Please report any unusual
species to the list or to me at the
above email address.

I got a report of a Northern Goshawk from the circle today!

cheers,
Matt

[cayugabirds-l] Townsend's Solitaire still there

2012-12-12 Thread Glenn Wilson
3:00pm today near the end of the gated road on the right side as you are facing
the gate. There are two roads that turn right about 75 feet apart. We
photographed the bird at the intersection of the next to last road - ie, in
between the two roads that go right.

[cayugabirds-l] Myers Peregrine

2012-12-12 Thread bilbaker
I made a half hour visit to Myers mid morning. By far the most noteworthy
bird I found was a Peregrine Falcon sitting and preening on the snag across
Salmon Creek from the point.
