After getting home and looking at my books I think those owls we saw earlier were probably 2 pair of short eareds. Buffy patches, darker faces and harrier like behavior were seen. Clear white under wing was absent. Sorry! I will wait to get home to post from now on. We have never seen either in

As I was sweeping a path to and around the feeders this beautifully snowy Christmas dawning, the only sound to be heard was the soft "caroling" of 'tea kettle, tea kettle, tea kettle' over and over again. Then a Crow and a Tree Sparrow added their part. Merry Christmas everyone! Judy Thurber
