I saw a pair (m f) of EASTERN BLUE BIRDS investigating a nest cavity this
morning around 7:30. The nest (and the birds) were in a walnut tree in my yard
on Perry City Rd. The cavity was used last year with success (but with at
least one casualty)... I wonder if it's the same pair.

Last few days when I wake up or open my eyes, I hear cardinal singing. I don't
know if I get up to the song of cardinal or we by chance both get up at the
same time.
Today in addition to the cardinal there was Tufted Titmouse singing. When I
looked out of the window, I saw lots of activities
There are 2 Horned Grebes and 1 Red-necked Grebes. Also, one male Wood Duck.

thought some of you might be interested that SNOWY OWLS are still being
seen in the Basin. Garrett MacDonald and Rose Swift reported the continuing
bird on Indian Field Road north of Rt. 90 in Genoa yesterday evening, on
the north side of northernmost milking barn. Today, Chris Wood has
