We have a goldfinch with an injured or infected eye who has been visiting
our feeders. Last week the eye looked cloudy, but at this point all the
feathers on that side of her face look clumped together, and the eye can't
be seen. It seems to be getting worse.

As I biked home from a meeting in downtown Ithaca at 8pm I heard northbound
Canada Geese fairly low. Between 10 11 pm Laurie I went for a walk on the
path in Cass Park. (It was a bit disorienting to be walking on bare pavement
rather than cross-country skiing.) As I hoped, several times I
