[cayugabirds-l] Late birds

2015-11-27 Thread AB Clark
Not way late, but down to few and far between. Nov 27th 2015

One male Brown-headed Cowbird is still visiting my feeders on Hile School Road;
a female and another male seen several days ago have moved on, apparently.

A Belted Kingfisher dashed NE across Fall Creek Road just E of Freeville,
heading for the old railroad bridge that the cows use.

A Northern Mockingbird was the 2nd visitor to my bait for crows, Stevenson Road
Composting Facility. The first visitor was a starling. The Mockingbird may be
the same one I saw about 10 days ago across Stevenson south of the Compost
Mounds, in some bittersweet climbing on the barn.
