Diane Morton and Ken Kemphues will lead a Cayuga Bird Club field trip this
Saturday morning, 8 am to noon. Meet at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology
parking lot.
We will stop at a few spots along Cayuga Lake to look for ducks and other
waterfowl and will also look for wintering field birds in the

The doves are having quite a challenge this morning with all the ice covered
limbs and wires. They land, flutter, slide an inch or so, then fly away and try
again. The only place they can get a good grip is in a pine tree. The little
goldfinches are having no trouble at all. How fun to watch!
