As I was coming back to Freeville via Hanshaw Road (13 to West Dryden Road),
there was a Raven just sitting in a tree along the road, basically in the front
yard of the house or two on the W side of Hanshaw, just before getting to Niemi
Road. Two crows came out from W of the house to call at
Susan, Gary, and I saw 2 Glossy Ibis across from the Potato Building in the
south east corner of the Mucklands around 6:00 pm. They were still there when
we left.

I was doing crow work today, which means nest finding (they started
incubating!! All nest site information and activity reports are most welcome.),
and had a few non-crow interesting observations to report.
I had FOX SPARROWS in three different locations today, so watch out for them.

A friend let me know that two GOLDEN EAGLES soared over her house today
around noon. She's on Nelson Road in the Town of Ithaca. She said they were
quite low; didn't say in which direction they were flying. She said she
wasn't confident of the ID so checked the Lab's website.

There was a second woodcock sitting nearby, which once vocalized a funny
higher-pitched peent, and eventually took off. A female,
