[cayugabirds-l] West side of the lake trip-maybe

2018-03-02 Thread Htva Waxwing
Hi everyone,

Just wanted you to know that I will be watching the weather conditions to make
a decision about whether to hold this Sunday's field trip. I recommend anyone
considering going should check the CBC calendar on the web page before heading
down there on Sunday morning. If I cancel, it will be on the calendar and I
will send out another email to the listserv.

Thank you,

Ken Haas

[cayugabirds-l] Storm visitors

2018-03-02 Thread Carol Keeler
I haven’t had a lot of action at my feeders lately, but it picked up today.
Lots of grackles, RWBB, with one female. A large flock of snow geese flew over
going south. The best sighting so far is three male Purple Finches! I do get
them here in Sennett spring through summer but never this early. All my
regulars are here too.
