Large snowflakes driven by south winds somewhat hampered visibility across the north end of Seneca County this afternoon.  Around 4 pm single snowy owl was sitting on a hillock close to the bend in the driveway of the Finger Lakes Airport.  (We also checked Chadwick and Thorpe, but not Farron

This morning during a home school student migration tour, we spotted a FOY (for me!) pied-billed grebe actively feeding in the Crane Unit, off of VanDyne Spoor Rd, Savannah, Wayne County. The side of the road that the grebe was on is considered Refuge lands, and the other side is state land.

Hi all, A 1st cycle THAYER'S GULL found by Tim Lenz yesterday morning was still present in the gull flock off the west end of Stewart Park yesterday evening, along with three Kumlien's Iceland Gulls and at least 19 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. The evening gull flock on the lake has been interesting
