While conducting a Marsh Bird Survey on the Main Pool this evening, we had a
fly over of a dark ibis. It was vocalizing, but that didn't seem to help narrow
it down. I presume Glossy, but did not get a close look to confirm. JVN

Just had a very nice close-up with a Swainson’s Thrush at Lick Brook, less than
100’ up the Thayer Trail from the Townline Road bridge.

Around my yard this morning Hooded Warbler and Magnolia Warbler were singing in
their accustomed breeding spots.

They weren't there yesterday, but today the Bobolinks are exuberantly back
on Landon Road in Brooktondale. ☺
