I too voted no. In a time when any regulations to protect the environment and
its wild inhabitants are anathema even such an informal vote is doomed but it
would be great if all who agreed with the premise would vote. I’m pretty sure
people don’t enjoy licensing their dogs but it’s come to be

Currently a vote is being taken by an Albany station whether or not to license
cats. As I write, the NO vote is winning. I urge anyone concerned about this
issue, for or against, to vote. I favor licensing for several reasons that are
becoming increasingly clear. This is not the time to spell
