Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC)

     11/22: 2 CACKLING GEESE were seen from Carncross Road.

     11/23: A late SAVANNAH SPARROW and a ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK were seen from East 
Road. Also from the same location an astounding 164 SANDHILL CRANES were 
counted in the Marsh.







Cayuga County

     11/22: 4 BLACK SCOTERS were seen at Fair Haven State Park in Lake Ontario.

     11/25: 4 BLACK SCOTERS and a RED-THROATED LOON were seen on Lake Ontario 
from West Barrier Bar Park in Fair Haven.







Onondaga County

------------




     11/18: A late ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER was found on the West Shore Trail of 
Onondaga Lake. A BLACK VULTURE was seen near the Jamesville Reservoir Fishing 
Access site. A NORTHERN GOSHAWK was seen in a wooded area near Spafford.

     11/22: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was seen in the Big Fields area of Three Rivers 
WMA north of Baldwinsville.

     11/24: A BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was seen near the swimming pool in Van 
Buren Park in Baldwinsville. 3 RED-NECKED GREBES, 3 BLACK SCOTERS, a COMMON 
GALLINULE, a late RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET and 4 RED THROATED LOONS were all seen 
on the West Shore Trail of Onondaga Lake.







Oswego County

------------




     An adult male HARLEQUIN DUCK and up to 2 BLACK SCOTERS were present at 
Oswego Harbor through the week. The were seen along with a number of 
WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS and LONG-TAILED DUCKS mostly from the Fort Ontario parking 
lot. The Harlequin was not seen today but Black Scoters were.

     11/22: A LITTLE GULL was seen from the overlook at Derby Hill. 1 GLAUCOUS 
and 1 ICELAND GULL was seen at Oswego Harbor.7 PINE SISKINS were seen near 
Cleveland on the north shore of Oneida Lake.







Madison County

------------




     11/20: A RED-THROATED LOON was seen at the south end of Cazenovia Lake.







Herkimer county

------------




     11/23: A NORTHERN SHRIKE was again present at the corner of Albany and 
Soncody Roads in West Winfield.
