Please join me Saturday for an all-day bird club trip around the lake. As is customary this time of year, we will focus on waterfowl (see if we can find the Green-winged Teal in Union Springs) but also spend some time on the back roads looking for field birds - larks, buntings, and longspurs. And Snowy Owls, of course! Meet at the east end of Stewart Park at 8 am to carpool. We will stop at the top end of the lake for lunch. At this point it looks to be cold and cloudy with considerable snow on the ground. If I see any reason to cancel or postpone (til Sunday), I will post it here. Questions?
