I, too, have had super luck with sending mine into the manufacturer, as
most have life-time warranties these days.

[cayugabirds-l] Last Gyrfalcon sighting.

A friend looking for the Seneca Stone Gyrfalcon. I saw it 3 weeks ago flying 
from the south straight into the quarry. Anyone see it this past week. 
   I have a theory that it roosts further south when the lake freezes. Mike

I’ve always reached out to the manufacturer.
They have always been very accommodating. I’ve dealt with multiple companies 
over the years I.e. Kowa,Leica,Nikon.
