Altho I have heard Loons calling on Cayuga Lake for a couple weeks, today I
finally got by the shore & saw one!
Also, a nice flock of Cedar Waxwings were eating Multiflora Rose Hips right by
Lansing Station Road.

On a drive around N. Lansing & Genoa/king Ferry area, it was an o-K day
-I saw a Killdeer on Jerry Smith rd, then 2 Kestrels on Holden & Gulf Rds. ,
then a 3rd Kestrel on NY Rt 90 just west of Indian Field Rd. west of Genoa.
Lotsa male Kowbirds in my yard.
I know - - Korny!

Also saw 2 Red-tailed Hawks during the drive.
