flock of 2000 grackles, red-wings, cowbirds and starlings. Noon, at
intersection. 1 pm, first cornfield, south side of Worden Rd.

Cattle Egret - opposite Great Gully Rd and Rt 90, Springport, Cayuga Co.
Near ditch and pond. Landowners truck and dog did not flush when passing
egret.

Saturday, September 26, previously reported Hudsonian Godwit seen 3 pm at
north end of Eaton Marsh along auto tour. Still present when we left at
5:30.

Adult Ross's Goose on south side of Farley's Point today between 1 and 2
pm. Flew off to north with several hundred Canadas. Has not returned. David

Montezuma NWR. Glossy Ibis, maybe same reported by M & J Tetlow, seen about
9:30 AM Sunday, May 19. Flew into first lagoon east of auto tour
road (Larue?), touched down and quickly departed high and southward toward
Cayuga lake. A low flying Bald Eagle may have been the reason.
