There are currently hundreds of turkey vultures over the compost area and along
Stevenson Road in Ithaca. They are in the sky, in the trees, on the fence
posts, and every place.

There are 12 very tan Sandhill cranes in the southeast corner of the Sandhill
crane unit, visible from Vandyne Spoor Road. Very active, flying up and down.

This morning there was a pine Siskin in the yard collecting nesting material.

Manure has been spread along the west side of Rte 90, where Lake Rd joins 90
and it has attracted a nice flock of snow buntings and horned larks. This is
near the old triangle diner.

“ Chris Wood: 1st-year Roseate Spoonbill flew up out of the back side of

I just observed a Blackburnian warbler feeding a huge cowbird chick. I’ve never
