Here on upper Bruce Hill Road in Danby we have three males and at least one female Rose-Breasted Grosbeak. We usually have them in the summer. We had a male Indigo Bunting stop at the feeders once this year, and that seems to be an annual occurrence. We see it just the once. We have two or

Are male Rose-breasted Grosbeaks not territorial? We have three of them hanging around our sunflower feeders and suet feeders and they seem to be okay with each other. We put up two extra suet feeders this morning because they seem to like the suet and our regular suet feeders are bottom-feed

Late yesterday morning my husband and I saw a kettle of Turkey Buzzards soaring near the ponds near Robert Packer Hospital/Guthrie Clinic. It was a first for us to see so many together. There must have been around 100 of them. We live near the top of Bruce Hill Road in Danby and watch Turkey
