Had 2 AMERICAN BITTERNS fly by muckrace flats savannah spring lake road.
Across the bridge on the other side of road the water levels are low are there
is a lot of mudflat. We had shorebirds galore here. Counted 20 wilsons snipe,
many greater and lesser yellowlegs, 2 solitary sandpipers, 1
Upland sandpiper continues. Only 1 this week. Sitting on a wire close for my
SFO group for 10+ minutes. We also heard and saw a GRASSHOPPER SPARROW in
the same area that Chris Wood found it last week. The bird flew up to a post
for a brief time so that we could get brief view. The bird
Yellow throated warbler was seen and photographed at a bird feeder of one of
our local birders in Broome Co Courtney Moore. Just found out via email.
