Last yr. & in '10, I read that sunflower & niger was coming from India & other foreign countries due to the shortages in the US .... shortages due to bad growing conditions & also from sunflower oil being used for other purposes. Prices almost doubled for US products so companies bought foreign seed at lower prices & poorer quality.
